We are pleased to announce that the technical program for the first edition of the Workshop on Dependable AI in Embedded Systems (DAIES 2026) is now available.
DAIES 2026 will take place on 22 September 2026 in Valencia, Spain, as a co-located workshop of the 45th edition of SafeComp, the International Conference on Computer Safety, Reliability and Security.
The workshop will bring together researchers and practitioners working on the design, verification, validation, and certification of AI-enabled embedded and cyber-physical systems, with a particular focus on dependability attributes such as safety, reliability, availability, and security.
The program features presentations covering a broad range of topics, including:
- AI safety engineering for automotive and industrial domains
- Dependability assessment of neural networks and spiking neural networks
- Fault injection and radiation effects in AI-enabled systems
- Runtime monitoring and resilient AI architectures
- Safety assurance of large language models in critical applications
In addition to the technical sessions, the workshop will include an invited keynote presentation by a distinguished expert in the field. The keynote speaker will be announced soon.
DAIES 2026 is part of the SafeComp workshop day, which will be held on 22 September 2026, ahead of the main conference taking place from 23 to 25 September 2026 in Valencia.
We invite all researchers, engineers, and practitioners interested in dependable AI for embedded and safety-critical systems to explore the program and join us in Valencia.
